Florists, jewelers, candy shops, restaurants and department stores have been gearing up to cater to the celebrants of Valentine's Day. I'm single and have no significant relationship with anyone at the present time. However, I am not resistant to a potential “He that findeth...” because my times and seasons are in the hands of the Lord, and He can have His way concerning my coupling future. But if I were to have the perfect Valentine, I would want him to be a composite of some of the most phenomenal men I have ever crossed path with throughout my career and personal life. For privacy sake, using their initials only, I pay tribute to these men who embody what I will call my “Frankenstein Valentine.”
To my “Frankenstein Valentine,” every facet of your being is honored, appreciated and celebrated. Because you're like the techno savvy AJB, always exuding the strength of quietness and humility; You're like MG, the warrior spirit, a visionary and strategic businessman with an artistic flair; You're like OJJ and KB, full of wise counsel, evangelistic, passionate prayer warriors and worshippers, and like OJJ, never ashamed to weep before the presence of the Lord. (He recently transitioned to Glory, rest in peace man of God).
“Frankenstein Valentine” you're like RAW, the spontaneous and quick-witted one who could make me laugh at the drop of a hat, full of the wisdom of the sages, knowing a lot about so much; You're like EGW, the wise, strategic, global-minded visionary, with a heart for the well-being of people throughout the world; You're like JG, a stealth warrior who wins every confrontation with gentleness and compassion; You're like EW, who tells-it-like-it-is-and-ought-to-be.
“Frankenstein Valentine” you're like RH the wise and passionate teacher of the scriptures, able to give the milk, bread and meat to the children of God; You're like another man of God, DH, who exemplifies the most patient and loving caregiver for seniors; You're like DSM, the artistic, passionate poet and scribe, industrious, confident, strategic and diligent; and you're like DWH, the detail-oriented salesman extraordinaire who's generous to a fault.
No one on this earth can ever compare to you, my ever-evolving “Frankenstein Valentine.” When God created man, He created him in His image and likeness. So I honor, celebrate and appreciate the virtues of my “Frankenstein Valentine.” For you are a sampling of the true love of my life, my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
