Affirmations for: Bearing Fruit of the Spirit
Copyright: August 1, 2011
Ephesians 4:23-24 --
Thank you Lord that I have been given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. I am able to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Now that I belong to you, I die daily and crucify my flesh to follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience and meekness. You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. I seek your knowledge so that temperance is added to my life and I am able to put off former conversations that reflect the old man, which is corrupt according to deceitful lusts. My mouth speaks the truth in love. I give no place to the devil by yielding to a hasty spirit of lying. Anger, wrath or corrupt conversation of evil speaking, bitterness and malice is far from me. I am a prisoner of the Lord and you have called me to a holy vocation of walking in meekness, with long suffering, forbearing one another in love. I am patient in spirit, speaking those things that are edifying and ministers grace to the hearer. I will not grieve the Holy Spirit wherein I have been sealed until the day of redemption. With kindness, I am tenderhearted and forgiving because you have forgiven me and did not leave me to my own destructions. May I always be found as good ground, honest, and with a good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
Your covenant is with me for life and peace which passes all understanding and guards my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. As I rule my spirit I am counted mightier than he that takes a city. My rest is in the Lord and I wait patiently for you because I will not be cutoff and I shall inherit the earth. I love your law, precepts and commandments to obtain great peace and nothing offends me. I put on the Lord Jesus Christ as my covering so no provision is made to fulfill the lust of the flesh. Your kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. I give all diligence to add faith, virtue and knowledge to my life so that the old man is crucified with Jesus Christ and the body of sin might be destroyed, and I should not be a servant to sin.

Affirmation for: Walking in Obedience
Copyright: August 1, 2011
WALKING IN OBEDIENCE
Genesis 22:18 -- And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
My Lord and Father keeping your law, precepts and commandments are not hard or burdensome because my heart is full of love for you. By the enabling power of your Holy Spirit, I daily purify my soul by obeying your truth and loving my brethren without condition or pretense. When I obey your word my mind is renewed so I can keep my thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ. I know that when I hear and obey your voice I receive blessings that shall come on me and overtake me. I am willing and obedient and I eat the good of the land. My reasonable service is to reverence you, love you with my heart, mind and spirit, walk in your ways, serve you with joy and gladness and treasure your law as my necessary food. Therefore daily, I present myself as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to you Lord as I obey your word.

Affirmation for: THE INNER LIFE
The Inner Life
3John 1:2 -- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Father I present my body a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to you, which is my reasonable service. I am not conformed to this world, and I hold fast to the truth of your word that transforms and renews my mind. My lifestyle is the evidence that your word is working effectually in me. I am able to prove the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. I am found a faithful steward over your word, steadfast, unmoveable and always abounding in the work of the Lord. All of my labor, what I do in word or deed, is done in your name Lord Jesus, so my labor is not in vain.
Thank you for helping me to bear the burdens of others and to love others as you have loved me. I am counted in your eyesight as one who, out of the good treasures of my heart, brings forth that which is good. Out of the abundance of my heart my mouth speaks the law of kindness, grace, comfort, edification and exhortation to others. My companions are those who are wise because destruction waits for those who walk with fools. When I rest I have your peace and sweet sleep and I dwell in the safety of your presence. My ears are attentive to your voice and you speak peace to your people and your saints and I am kept from turning again to folly. You are the God of patience and consolation and I am like-minded toward others according to Christ Jesus. With one mind and one mouth I glorify God, even the Father of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I receive others as Christ received me to the the glory of God.

INTRODUCTION: Talk to God with Affirmations of Faith
INTRODUCTION
When I became a Christian, prayer and attending prayer gatherings became the life blood of my existence. I need to know the mind and heart of God, what He wants, thinks and feels about His creation. I search the scriptures, keep myself planted in a ministry of sound teaching, and abide in the presence of God through prayer as often as possible. The present economy has contributed to many Christians living beneath the identity and covenant declared in the Word of God. Yet it saddens my heart to know that the least attended gatherings in the church are for evangelism and corporate prayer.
I am reminded of a movie I watched with my grandchildren called “Madagascar.” There was a group of penguins, not the main characters, who captured a great portion of my attention and laughter. Whenever there was a possibility of them getting unwanted attention, the penguin leader would tell the others “Smile and wave boys, just smile and wave.” This instruction and adherence to it was their “rule of non-engagement.” It makes me wonder if many in the Body of Christ are just “smiling and waving” at Jesus. Are they not giving themselves to studying the scriptures and prayer? Are they neglecting the necessary engagement to learn, know, understand and mature in the things of God?
When I wrote my first book “Pray What God Says,” the intention was to encourage and provoke the reader to develop a greater relationship with God through prayer. The effect of communion and fellowship with Him yields the manifestation of spiritual growth and blessing in every facet of your life. The benefit of prayer is the evidence that God truly honors what is promised in His Word.
It is important to know the Word of God for effective and effectual prayer. And His Word declares who He is, what He does, who we are, and what we can have. Our greatest access to God, kingdom living, and the assistance of the Holy Spirit is through prayer. A question has been raised on various Internet social mediums and it is “Where has the power in the church gone?” I think the critics of the church fail to recognize that there is a true distinction between the godly and ungodly. It is more so when they are jaded by the human failure of a few men and women of God, who become candidates for stoning by the media and public opinion. I always pray that the people of God who have fallen step back into the redeeming grace and sure mercies of God quickly.
The benefit of Internet technology has enabled me to obtain statistics on visits to my website. One variable allows me to see what people were searching for that led them to the site. A greater percentage of the visitors want to know how to pray. If adverse circumstances are the major provocation, I am glad that seeking God through prayer is perceived as the remedy and solution. And it is!
When the church (individually and corporately) prays effective and effectual prayers, the result is power and demonstration exemplified in Joel 2:26-32: And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
There are revivals going on now throughout the earth. Lives are being changed, healed and delivered everyday by the power of God. Although I might not see prayer attendance as great as it should be, God is using a remnant of men and women who are dedicated to His Word to Pray without ceasing. --1Thessalonians 5:17.
“Talk to God with Affirmations of Faith,” is a resource for those who want to start or develop their communication and relationship with God. The scripturally-based affirmations contained in this book will fortify the truth of God in your heart relative to any circumstance that occurs in your life. When you study the scriptures, it is in the language of Kingdom because we are Kingdom people.
Titus 2:14 (NLT)-- He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.
Living in kingdom privilege and kingdom access demands that you: Speak the Language of Kingdom and Shift from Victim to Victorious. When you do, prepare to enter into God's tangible presence where your heart will readily commit to His love, power, peace and blessings.
